Terraform Water
A LOJO ENGINEERING SUBSIDARY
Psuedomembrane Nanotechnology for Produced Water Solutions
Annual Permian Basin water produced and disposed of from oil & gas operations matches New Mexico’s agricultural water use (~8 billion barrels). Untreated oil & gas produced water is many times more salty than sea water and kills vegetation. Conventional oil & gas produced water treatment costs are millions per month just to dispose of the water underground.
Filters use pressure to separate contaminants from water, much like a French Press separates coffee grounds from brewed coffee through force applied to the filter surface. Pores size limitations and high-pressure requirements have made it impossible to clean this oil & gas water to drinkable, until now…
We engineered a way to clean Oil & Gas produced water to levels previously unachievable using PseudoMem Hydro™ nanotech for agricultural and environmental reuse.
How it works: Electric fields force contaminate aggregation
PseduoMem Hydro™ works by controlling the way in which chemical solutions are mixed. We modulate the charge density and therefore the mass density. High voltage electric fields "prime" a wet chemical solution for imaging or manipulating charge distributions in solution similar to the way a Magnetic Resonate Imaging (MRI) machine uses strong magnetic fields to sense molecular structure. Our technology can start chemical reactions that would never occur, prevent naturally occuring reactions, and modulate reaction speeds and mixing profiles enabling the creation of an undiscovered catalog of new metamaterials.
